Making progress!!
The new website is coming along, it's almost ready for official unveiling. (although melissa snuck there already!! sneaky!!) I think I've got the template buisness mostly figured out, so hopefully by the end of the week! I know you're all just on the edge of your seats.
I finished my moms eyelash scarf, which I knit on 9's so it was thick and heavy. She was totally thrilled and fascinated, she's easy to please. I'm probably casting on for jaywalkers soon, but I'm going to try the easy sock pattern with my cheap sock yarn before I dive into jaywalkers, which look somewhat difficult for a first time sock knitter.
I have a TON of blogging to do about this past weekend (my 1st anniversary). It's a pretty cool story but I'm going to save it for the new blog. For now I'm off to the gym!

i wish i could take credit for the wonderful yard stick (in my case a metre stick) shelf... i got it from craftster...

Hi!
I'm an admitted lurker...I wanted to let you know that the first (and only) sock pattern I have knit was the jaywalker. I love them so much that I keep knitting them! An easy to memorize, easy to understand pattern!
Hope you decide what to do - sock yarn is so addicting once you start!

I think I am about to venture into sock-knitting land soon, as well. We will see how that works for me.
